Chevron

Chevron beads are glass trade beads, also called rosetta beads, made by layering different colors of glass and then grinding the ends to expose a decorative, star-shaped pattern, traditionally with 12 points. Originating in Venice in the 15th century, these multi-layered beads were primarily traded for resources and people in Africa, and their unique pattern can vary in layer count and points.
